Arkaneia started at ESGS 2019. A handful of us met on the show floor and, by the end of the weekend, did not want it to be over.
The first bracket came fast. Mimizone, December 12, 2019: thirty League of Legends players randomized into six teams, five thousand pesos on the line, one December night. It worked, so we kept going.
Then the pandemic moved everything online, and it turned out online was our home field. Between 2019 and 2021 we ran six tournaments across League of Legends, Teamfight Tactics, and Valorant, all from lobbies and Discord servers, all streamed live.
Partway through, we started a podcast, O10 Talk. It was the first step from running games to making shows. The entertainment wing grew from there: our own VTuber agency, and later, live creator management on TikTok.
